On the graduate programme, there was a lot of emphasis on technologies and databases, which is the stuff that interests me.  I was also able to spend time learning from colleagues, while I was working towards my certification in IT and cloud technologies.

I am really grateful for the development opportunities LSEG offers and how diverse the team is. You’re working with people from a range of continents and cultures. The managers set an example and encourage you to aspire to reach a higher level in what you do.

Now, I’m part of the Database Administration Team, ensuring that our critical systems are up and running every moment of the day. We make sure they’re resilient and are always performing at the highest level, so that users have no issues.

I’ve been involved with cloud migration of critical systems, which was particularly challenging, as we had the pressure of a short timeline and a lot of projects going on in parallel. You get to learn and adapt very fast!
