My current role, as a Quantitative Analyst, is very project based. There’s always a new problem to solve to help make everyone’s lives easier! A year on, I’m still learning new things and there’s no sense of getting bored!

I’m part of FTSE Russell’s Sustainable Solutions QA sub team, which conducts impact analysis and data due diligence for third-party Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) data. It’s helpful that I bring some transferable skills from my engineering degree, like maths, statistics and coding.

LSEG is a supportive and collaborative environment, where you’re encouraged to learn from your mistakes. In fact, that’s when I learn the most! You then make those learning steps and neural connections. At the same time, you can’t coast here, as you’re being pushed to learn.
